Dell Consultant, Sales Operations in Bengaluru, India

Principal Accountabilities

  • Support sales organization through customer, operational and business support.

  • Responsible for serving as primary interface between sales and other operational functions developing / communicating sales processes and procedures relating to order administration and fulfillment.

  • Evaluates and implements improvements to sales programs and processes including: anticipating demands, account management, leads, planning and prioritization, closing strategies, pricing and margin strategies, sales automation, tools and reporting programs.

  • Provides pre-sales and/or post-sales operational support by identification of order problems, and delivers solutions working cross-functionally to resolve. Liaises between the customer/partner and sales organization. Focuses on delivering a positive customer or partner experience. Facilitates product and sales information flow. Drives sales operations process improvements

  • May serve as primary interfaces with other internal functions, based on BU and/or regional requirements. May be responsible for influencing sales behavior and capabilities.

  • Oversees /Manages operational support to the India Sales Team. Manages coordination of communications and information dissemination with sales force and cross- functional organizations.

  • Coordinate all related Business Operations activities for the India Commercial sales business:

GTM Strategy & Planning

  • Data Driven Opportunity Identification

  • Manage Account Segmentation

  • Deliver Territory Design and Optimization

  • Define BIC Route to Market Planning

  • Run with Finance and Sales and Integrated Business Planning

  • Plan & Cascade IOP

  • Ensure Quota are set accurately and timely

Business Management

  • Weekly Performance Management to Achieve Overall Company

  • Targets and Identify Critical Levers and Strategic Initiatives

  • Run the Business Activities

  • Pipeline, Outlook/Forecast Process

  • Deliver Business Insights & Analytics

Sales Enablement

  • Implement Sales Tools, Systems and Processes Identified in VOF to Drive and Improve Sales Enablement and Sales Productivity

  • Ensure feedback and actions taken to deliver end to end great Sales Compensation experience

  • Deliver programs or design to improve Sales Team Collaboration through optimized RTM strategy and processes

  • Ensure our Quoting and Ordering systems and processes are efficient and delivering BIC Customer experience

  • Product Lead Times

  • Support Sales Transformation & Growth Initiatives

  • Encourage and provide Best Practice Sharing with other teams in GBO / APJ

Skills

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to work effectively with senior management.

  • Ability to manage in a matrix environment.

  • Sense of urgency

  • Possesses strong analytical skills working with large data using excel and/or other reporting tools

  • Financial and analytical experience.

Project management methodology utilization.

  • Experience with SFDC, SAP, Tableau will be a plus

  • Advanced Excel (Macro) and Database skills will be plus
