Key Responsibilities

Dell’s Online Engineering (Dell Commerce Services) organization is hiring an eCommerce B2B Senior Advisor to be part of the B2B Product UX Analytics team. This is a global team responsible for analytics and insights for Multi Billion $ online B2B business. Work of this team influences actions of Run the Business Operations team and features and roadmaps considered by engineering development team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain scorecard of site behavior – visitors, engagement, conversation, cross-site %s, CSAT, etc.

  • Support Monthly Ops reviews for the experience journey, provide exec summaries for executive leadership

  • Conduct ad-hoc Insights to inform Use Cases and Concepts and support the teams pursuit of the overall FY20/21 goals - Specialize on insights projects to inform business and experience strategy

  • Work with Product Engineering team to define priorities for FY20/21, assist in CBA calculation for project prioritization and quarterly ROI assessment of the launches during the period

  • Conduct analysis to provide inputs and generate ideas for driving personalization on site, collaborate with Data Science team to develop solution, follow through implementation, tracking results and calculating benefits

  • Work with data scientists teams to bring together UX, marketing, sales data sources for increasingly single view of customer and processes around accessing it e.g., Hadoop/hive/splunk etc. as well as support ad-hoc data engineering.

Essential Requirements

  • Education MBA/ degree in business administration or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science/IT, Applied Science, Math, Statistics

  • Worked as a business analyst in Analytics/ Business Intelligence/ Consulting - Candidate should have played a role where he/she has been accountable for delivery within a business area

  • Understanding of Online e-Commerce experience (pre-purchase, purchase path, post purchase)

  • Understanding of web metrics, customer pathing and how to utilize in creating user experience flow and opportunity identification

  • Understanding of Cost Benefit Analysis and ROI calculation

  • Thorough understanding of Adobe Site Catalyst + experience in any of the e-commerce analytics tools: Discover, Insights, TeaLeaf or Experience in Big Data tools and skills including: Hadoop (Hive), Splunk, SQL, R, Python

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience in web analytics in B2C or B2B domains

  • Exposure to Online business, demonstrated a data driven approach to developing business ideas for site & traffic improvements.

  • Experience in analytics teams in large companies, working with multi stakeholder setup

  • Project management skills - Prioritized amongst multiple objectives and demonstrated flexibility during the course of the engagement

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office package, specially Excel and Power Point;
