What you’ll achieve
As a Lab Support Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for for security monitoring, patch & vulnerability analysis and application, patch automation and ensuring that infrastructures vulnerability and patch management are aligned-to and maintained-on industry best practices mitigating risks to acceptable levels. In this role, you will be engaging with program employees, stakeholders, and executives to ensure appropriate and up-to-date security management. Perform installations, preventive and remedial maintenance of servers, software, network, storage and SAN equipment located in LAB computing environment. Works with engineering departments to develop successful measurements to establish metrics. Demonstrates a high degree of self-initiative. Performs other duties as required.
Responsible for installation, configuration, testing, technical support, and process enforcement in the day-to-day operations of infrastructure systems with regard to patch management process.
Management of patching solution for all Infrastructure and validate successful deployment and monitor for incompatibility or performance issues.
Develop and improve key point indicators and metrics for vulnerability remediation.
Assist in developing action plans, schedules, budgets, status and metrics reports as well as other management communications intended to improve and enterprise patch management program.
Provide technical support & troubleshoot issues with security devices across multiple regions and environments.

Minimum 8 years of solid, diverse work experience in IT Infrastructure service management including experience in Technology Operations /patch management/vulnerability management/ Infrastructure supporting technology towers like Server, Storage, Backup, Virtualization (VMware) etc
Have experience defining security roadmaps based on customer requirements and driving security programs across large diverse organizations.
Proficiency in scripting of packaged installation of patches, software and configuration changes.
Strong knowledge of antivirus, Patch management tools
Must demonstrate accountability, sound decision making, analytical thoroughness, and the ability to work well with other team members
ITIL V4 Certified
Strong scripting knowledge and hands on experience on various automation tools.
