What you’ll achieve

Presales Solution Services (PSS) is a technical presales organization that focuses on technical excellence, innovation, and quality. PSS remotely collaborates with the presales field team to architect and deliver the right technical solutions for our DellEMC customers in an efficient and timely manner. We are now on an accelerated growth path to build a remote presales (Remote SE) organization in the India COE to augment the efforts of our field sales teams on end-to-end sales pursuits, which involves co-selling/augmenting sales wins through remote engagement. PSS India COE is seeking tenured sales/presales solution managers with the following credentials:

You will:

  • Setting vision and directions for technical presales solution teams to augment sales wins/drive customer opportunities

  • Inculcate the sales DNA in the team to challenge the team on the “art of the possible” to win sales deals by creating compelling technical solutions for sales pursuits.

  • PSS delivery and operational leadership for the aligned theatre/division accountable for delivering technical presales solutions such as quotes, sizing assessments, environmental profiles/drawings, POCs, and remote customer demos.

  • Driving strong collaboration with other work streams globally to ensure consistent and predictable operational metrics and KPI deliveries.

  • Managing daily functions within a domain work stream provides support through hiring and training staff, providing system & process training to employees and other groups.

  • Own Resource management, people management, and performance management of 15+ people team. People-savvy leader who can effectively balance business and people priorities.

  • Own talent management and vision to grow an ambitious young team in the COE within sales/presales.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong technical background and experience in enterprise storage, preferably building technical solutions for customer pursuits.

  • Profound knowledge in emerging technologies like Cloud computing , AI-Ml is a plus.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

  • Extensive collaboration and communication with field system engineers (SE) to proactively and accurately understand their customer requirements and translate it to standard PSS and custom solutions.

Desirable Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in sales enablement, technical presales, or consulting with at least 1 year experience in people leadership.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Reporting on service delivery parameters, domain and SLA performance.
