Principal Service Delivery Engineer

What you’ll achieve

As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.

You will:

  • Convert required outcomes into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria

  • Develop automated operations, responsible for the design, development, and support

  • Manually or semi-automatically operate all non-automated operational activities

  • Lead and participate in sprint demonstration meetings and follow up on feedback with action items

  • Participate in evaluations and research of platforms, products, and services

  • Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to team members as needed

Essential Requirements

  • Overall 8+ years of experience working in IT Industry, with 5 years in infrastructure managed services environment

  • Possess a strong "security first" mindset with good understanding of infrastructure as code concepts

  • Strong experience in Network Security, Cyber, Data and End point security.

  • Hands on experience with Linux, Windows, virtualization, networking, SDN, SDS and firewall

  • 3+ years' experience in a DevSecOps role developing, testing, integrating, deploying, and managing services in a production support environment.

  • Working with Cyber security team/Project managers/Operations Teams/Product Teams

  • Security control validation and standardization on over all solution

  • Conducting extensive analysis on the security vulnerabilities generated by Qualys Scan and fixing it across the components in IaaS environment.

Desirable Requirements

  • CISSP, GIAC, SSCP or, CEH; Cisco Certified Network Associate, Checkpoint Cert.

  • Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions (Qualys or similar tool)

  • Validation of SOPs/Documentation related to security operations practice
