Join our Global Support and Deployment Product Group Software Engineering team and you'll help develop innovative design and sustained solutions for supporting all of our enterprise products produced worldwide. We are offering a unique opportunity to a highly motivated, competent individual. You will be an architect and senior developer looking at future technology and how it can be utilized to produce superior quality software with a high degree of predictability to enhance serviceability for Dell's server, storage and networking products.
Leads the technical analysis of projects and products of significant size and complexity related to servicing and trouble-shooting Dell's storage and networking products
• Ensures that full life cycle delivery costs are within or better than the delivery costs contracted according to the service level agreement.
Coordinates the activities of technical solution team members to meet contract obligations
Manages or utilizes software that is built and implemented as a product, using best-in-class development process/lifecycle management (ex: Agile, Waterfall).
Works with various support teams, product and program management teams, and development teams; and establish a CLCA methodology for best service delivery
Advanced knowledge in debugging across various programming languages; and databases
Significant coding knowledge using Java, micro services
Able to easily achieve mastery of new tools, languages and operating systems.
In-depth knowledge of multiple Software Lifecycle and Quality Assurance methodologies. Able to apply multiple Software Lifecycle and Quality Assurance methods appropriately.
Experience with, and able to provide leadership in all phases of Customer service levels
Qualifications : Undergraduate degree or Graduate degree in computer science and 14+ years of relevant experience.
