What you’ll achieve

As a Product Designer, you will be part of a group of talented Designers, Engineers and others in related Design roles who manage products and solutions involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of exceptional product experiences. You will also execute plans as per schedules as well as product roadmaps along with Engineering and Product Management teams to ensure the Product is delivered to Dell’s exceptional experience standards. In addition, you will monitor programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or department personnel.

You will:

  • Be the custodian for Design, help lead, grow and develop the practice and culture of Design in the region and beyond

  • Deliver exceptional product design experiences through Dell’s Product Design Principles and Values

  • Deliver to our product experiences using the User Centred Design Practices and working in an Agile and Iterative Model.

Essential Requirements

  • Product design / UX / UI design experience, working with information architecture and building concepts around ways to best have users interact with large amounts of data

  • Extensive knowledge about Sketch, InVision, Figma, Miro and similar tools

  • Experience in working iteratively from POC, MVP and scale and working in Agile Scrum and Kanban and working with Product Managers, Product Owners and Developers in said agile framework or product model.

  • Good sense of design language and principles and up-to-date knowledge about usability and conversion best practices

  • Ability to work on ambiguous concepts that require critical thinking and research on unknown topics and Interacts with business owners to ensure their needs are being met.

  • Brings together different functional perspectives both within and outside the product teams

  • Ensures all product and design artefacts and documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the respective stakeholders

  • Graduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience or Post-Graduate degree 4+ years relevant experience in product design.

  • A design degree and portfolio is a must

Desirable Requirements

  • Design operations experience desirable but not necessary

  • service design experience is a plus
