What you’ll achieve
Accountable for all VMware business in his/her accounts/territory. Customer facing role that manages account engagement on VMware topics once agreed with core team. Serves as main point of contact to Core AEs for all VMware topics. Builds relationships with Dell EMC and VMware Field Sales teams. Comprehends Dell EMC’s VMWare GTM strategy for their region and guides the Dell EMC Core and overlays sales related to the appropriate route to market to transact and compensation plan.
Mainly focus in identifying VMware opportunities and addressing technical barriers by leveraging core sales & specialists from Dell and Vmware. Contribute to AEs enablement on VMware & Dell EMC value proposal /customer business benefit.
Proactively discover & drive VMware sales opportunities while learning customer environments, pain points, technical requirements, competition, decision process and funding.
Support ELAs/Large licensing opportunities driven by Dell AEs and VMware Customer Exec. Require sales/financial acumen to respond to customer financial/ sales issues.

•Work with Dell EMC Core, VMware sales and specialists in customers & partner discussions about VMware as VMware technology evangelist. Provide VMware product value proposition knowledge & formulate the VMware software strategy, leveraging sales resources to ensure proper positioning of VMware software portfolio
•Collaborate with core AEs to create VMware strategies in Account Plans
•Own life-cycle/ELA mgmt. to maximize upsell/cross-sell opportunity and incumbency with Dell at new term
•Builds relationships with VMware SEs and VMware specialists and drive attendance to Dell VMware workshops and customer field events|Collaborate with eligible partners to close channel partner-initiated VMware opportunities and adhere to the Dell EMC rules of engagement policies
•Minimum 15+ Years of experience in selling and architecting infrastructure solutions
•In-depth understanding of the complete suite of VMWare products and solutions (Licensing, CI,OEM)
•Should have experience in working with Direct or Channel partners by leveraging DT Access for VMware, OEM, Select, 3P Distributor
