Senior Analyst Business Intelligence

The MIB (Modernize the Install Base) team interacts across multiple functions and is ever evolving to ensure the appropriate focus on the highest revenue generating activities. The senior Analyst will need to work with Asset (Storage & Server), Opportunity, Revenue data to create insight and reporting for Sales and all interlocked functions, providing insight on activity, and all manner of data analytics and insight. The role also involves operational and analytic supporting to the broader MIB stakeholders.

What you’ll achieve

As a senior analyst business intelligence, you will connect various data sources, produce metrics, and identify insight to improve business performance. You will carry out best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization.

You will:

  • Analyze data, formulate conclusions and provide summary analysis for leadership

  • Be creative, customer-centric thinking and a combination of techniques

  • Translate complex functional, technical and business requirements into architectural designs

  • Implement work plans and schedule as assigned

  • Engage end user to determine information requirements and drive technical direction as a technical lead in an environment that fosters personal growth on challenging projects that solve real-world problems

  • Interface with customers to set expectations regarding report availability and SLAs

  • Monitor report and data availabilities and proactively communicates with customers on delayed reports/data sets

  • Work on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions

  • Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment on business matters

  • Support Business Development in different stages

  • Complete tasks and assignments under normal supervision

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply, coherently and fluently both in writing and verbally

  • Evidence of influencing the strategic direction of a business unit through a combination of impactful, relevant analysis and clear communication

  • Ability to manage a large and varied operational workload and stakeholder expectations

  • Proven track record of using SQL to derive insights from large and complex databases

  • Track record of building either analytical or reporting/visualization solutions using standard business intelligence tools: Tableau, PowerBI, R, and Python

Desirable Requirements

  • B.Sc. or M.S. (preferable) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems or equivalent

  • 3-4 years professional experience in business intelligence

  • An ambitious individual who can work under your own direction towards agreed targets and goals, you have an ability to manage change and to work under stress

  • Sense of urgency, team player and attention to detail

  • Evidence of continuous learning and adapting to new technologies
