Senior Manager Software Engineering- IT

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

The team needs a strong technical leader with deep technical knowledge. You will grow and manage high-performing engineering teams to deliver a highly personalized e-commerce experience. We are looking for self driven senior candidates who have a strong background in Engineering and Architecture, with proven abilities to innovate and be creative, as well as a passion for people and experience of working with global peers and partners.

  • Day to day management of Engineers on one or multiple Engineering product teams

  • Work with Product Owner for your product line to agree on assignments and priorities and disseminate this information to product team members

  • Coordination with the global leadership to support and guide product releases

  • Regular communication with B2B Online leadership on outcomes for your products

  • Encouraging and inspiring team members to excel both individually and as a cohesive product team.

  • Global E-Commerce Experience

Essential Requirements

  • 14+ years prior hands on Technical Experience out of which 4+ years performed in leadership roles

  • Good people skills, with strong experience in leading and mentoring teams and people

  • Good technology and architecture awareness and understanding

  • Ability to mentor and / or guide team members in complex engineering solutions

  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skill

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are an absolute requirement
