Integrate and Validate High Performance Computing Cluster (HPCC) Solutions with Dell Servers on Linux OS.
Qualify Cluster Deployment/Management Packages from Dell's partners. Drive interactions with partner for new releases w.r.t features and schedules.
Characterize Performance of building blocks such as Servers, Storage or Interconnects or GPGPUs.
Publish Technical white papers or blogs participate in international conferences to highlight the value of Dell HPC Solutions. Assist sales for Customer Engagements.
Look for emerging trends or technologies and perform a proof-of-concept to evaluate the technical strengths and value-add for HPC offerings.
Hands-on experience with high performance computing cluster architecture and underlying building blocks.
Must be familiar with Linux Operating System as an integration engineer. Should have experience with commercial or open source cluster deployment/management software i.e., Bright Cluster Manager, ROCKS
Should be familiar with integration and system testing. Must be able to able to create test plans and test scenarios. Must have demonstrated experience in evaluating new building blocks or simplification with respect to deployment or management.
Should have experience in Kubernets and container environment and other related devops tools.
Should have an understanding Cluster Management/Monitoring Framework and Deployment of HPC cluster is required. Familiarity with System Management software or tools would be a plus i.e., IPMI
Understanding of Intel or AMD Processor Architecture is required.
Hands-on experience with Infiniband Interconnect is required.
Familiarity with benchmarking and performance characterization for applications or system level components is required.
Must have good analytical skills to analyze and root cause issues related to deployment or sizing
Must be self-directed. Should be a very good team player.
Experience in compiling, running and optimizing applications in a specific vertical i.e., CFD, CAE, Oil & Gas, Molecular Dynamics, Weather Modelling, Bio Informatics
Exposure to MPI architecture is desired. Must have hands-on experience with different MPI libraries.
Exposure to GPGPUs (NVidia) or other accelerators would be a plus.
Experience in multiple parallel file system would be a plus.
Experience in application profiling and fine-tuning to achieve best performance
Prior experience in End-to-end proposal of HPC solution for customer requirements would be valuable.
Experience in writing technical white papers or blogs would be a plus.
Should have excellent written and spoken communication. Prior experience working with geographically distributed teams would be desired
