What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Engineer you will be supporting the growth of existing Dell Technologies, DFS Flexible Consumption programs and lead efforts to improve operational effectiveness in the metering and reporting practice.

You will:

  • Responsible for Storage, Backup & Compute Consumption Monthly Billing Reports for Flex-on-Demand and Data Center Utility Customers. Also, Account Ownership and Reviews

  • Manage Capacity Forecasts, Account Ownerships within the Metering & Reporting practice

  • Ensure service is delivered as per contract documents and report any deviations to Metering and Reporting Practice/functional or PMO Teams

  • Work closely work with billing specialists, delivery managers, solutions architects, capacity managers and IT teams for the automation strategy and coordinate efforts from a practice point of view

  • Account Ownership and Reviews

Essential Requirements

  • Dell Technologies product knowledge on Servers, Storage and Backup Domain to understand the current and future technical issues

  • Technical Troubleshooting, Log Analysis, Problem-Solving Skills, Customer Handling Skills, Data Analytics and Consolidation of Reports

  • Perform solid organizing and planning skills to oversee program deliverables

  • Should have strong time management, prioritization skills and be able to work in a team environment with little supervision to author process documents and value addition for manual and/or automated activities of work items

  • Ability to quickly and completely understand strategic questions, gather relevant information, perform necessary analysis and develop an insightful opinion

Desirable Requirements

  • Preferably BE/B.Tech/BCA/ BSc with overall 5+ years of total experience with 2-3 years of service delivery experience

  • Experience with MS Excel –Macros, Pivot Tables & Strong Presentation Skills
