We are 100+ membered DevOps team spread over multiple geographies supporting multitude of products on many devops tools, technologies, automation like Git, Github, Jenkins, Jira, Kafka, Python Automations, Test Automations, Installers like RPM, InstallAnywhere etc, Virtualization Support, Dockerization Support etc.
Resolving support issues involving the devops activities for users across multiple geographies during 2pm-11pm IST.
Ability to debug build issues and provide RCA. If necessary, propose and make code changes to set things right.
Ability to debug and resolve system issues.
Contribute to the bustling innovative culture through ideas that makes jobs easy for our users.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt quicker without much hand-holding.
3-5 years of experience in devops, build and release engineering space.
Strong working knowledge on Source Code Management (Git) and/or Subversion is expected.
Admin level experience on Jenkins is expected.
Working knowledge on one or more devops/build tools like Artifactory, Puppet, Vagrant is preferred.
Strong scripting experience in Shell Scripting. Python/Perl scripting knowledge is desirable.
Experience in working with dockers is a must.
Strong debugging skills and proactive approach to solving the issues.
Linux system knowledge would be desired.
Packaging experience would be desired.
Groovy & Gradle know-how would be an added advantage.
