What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer Senior Manager, you will understand the technology environment and business functions and apply your knowledge of programming, technologies and processes to develop and maintain business applications.
Direct the efforts of the team towards achievement of strategic and operational objectives
Act as a subject matter expert and advisor for specialized programs, systems and critical technologies
Assume a lead role within a major project and determine project approach, system scope, resource allotment and budget planning to meet complex business requirements
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand critical business success factors and key performance indicators
Manage and support the career growth of your direct reports

Ownership for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects with significant bottom line impact.
Work with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities for the Dell back office products.
Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
Instil best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and drive engineering efforts to meet program timelines with optimal solutions.
Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production services.
Career management and development of direct reports.
Expert project management skills
Strong client management and advanced business skills
Experience in working with Agile at Scale and extreme programming.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have minimum 8 years of experience with integration and governance with ERP and other products in OM space (Financial solutions and Order management)
Must be well versed with business implementations and patterns used for integration solutions
Must have experience to guide and implement SOA based integrations in production at large scale
Must have minimum 2 year of experience with implementing solutions on ERP based integrations using Open source like Scala, AKKA, Java
Must have minimum 3 years of experience with NOSQL based implementations in production
Must have experience in Micro services, Domain aligned and context-based architectures and implementations that can be maintained and sustained
Must have experience with PCF based implementations using micro services architecture
Able to assist in roadmap-based discussions and help build future road maps
Able to drive One OM modernization journey using abstraction-based implementations on open source
12+ years of relevant experience in software engineering
4+ years managerial/leadership experience
