Primary tasks will involve functional validation of DataDomain product and features and automation of test infrastructure.
Work closely with DataDomain Filesystem Dev and QA team to validate products and features
Develop new automation for test infrastructure and maintain the legacy automated tools/scripts
Collaborates well with other engineers and other engineering groups, voluntarily shares information
High level of proficiency in all necessary processes, applications, and tools
Demonstrated skill with development of new theories and methods related to testing
Strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills
BS/BTech/BE in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in functional testing of products/features
Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, Perl, shell/bash scripting
Proficiency in hardware, software and/or operating systems environments
Strong Unix/Linux knowledge
Excellent communication skills and proven cross-team collaboration experience
Experience in logging/resolving defect issues using a tracking system (like Bugzilla) and source control like Perforce preferable
Strong Problem solving skills.
