Senior Software Engineer (C#/.Net Dev)

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

• Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments

• Prepare written software/storage specifications for sophisticated products from architectural diagrams and documents

• Build and review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed

• Develop, review and implement test strategies for software products and systems

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Developer to assist us with implementing software applications on Windows OS.

•Develop and deliver innovative client and server side application solutions on Windows OS using C#/.Net Framework

•Work with internal cross-functional teams including Engineering, Marketing, Procurement, Program Management, Services, etc.

•Work with internal and external teams in the development of applications using agile methodology/SCRUM

•Participate actively in design and code reviews, retrospectives, driving improvements to products and processes

•Provide engineering troubleshooting to isolate and provide root cause of issues and implement high quality innovative solutions

Essential Requirements

•5 - 9 years of experience with key concepts in software application design (security, patterns, frameworks, structured code, etc.)

•Experience with software UWP application programming on Windows OS using Visual Studio

•Experience in C#, .Net Framework, .Net core, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, SQL Lite, MVVM

•Knowledge of Web Service standards (REST, SOAP, WSDL, JSON) & XML standards (XML, XML Schema, XLST, XPath etc.,)

•Familiarity with using the Atlassian suite of tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira and Confluence), Jenkins, Fisheye

Desirable Requirements

•MS in Computer Science or a related technical field

•Experience using Azure and Akamai cloud technologies

•Experience working in a multi-site and multi-cultural environments

•Familiarity with common open source software and licenses
