About Business Unit:
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.
Should be able to understand MRDs (Marketing Requirements / Statement of Work / Engineering Requirements Specifications) and transform these into the desired product.
Work within the multiple stakeholders like Product Owners, Product Support teams, industry partners like Microsoft, VMWare, ServiceNow etc on new technologies, product ideas and develop new ideas into products or product features
Work within the development teams on high impact and system wide feature sets to define suitable software architectures/high level design
Actively participate in design, implementation, and/or code reviews to ensure consistency with overall architecture, performance, scalability and interoperability considerations
Should own multi modules/components within the product. Motivate and drive the team towards common goal.
Should actively participate in other team initiatives.
Should be able to working in Agile methodologies.
Should be flexible to handle new features as well as defect fixes.
Should be willing to take initiative to come-up with innovative ways of solving problems.
Essential Requirements UI technologies which are required for this position
Knowledge of at least one of the data binding technologies like Bootstrap, KnockoutJs or similar is required.
Http Methods OOPS concepts or any one programming knowledge (Java, C#) hands on, Rest base,d web services creation & consumption for UI development
Strong experience designing products using web technologies and creating secure and robust applications is required.
Database fundamentals with exposure to relational Databases and strong SQL knowledge
Hands on knowledge in build tools like ant, maven, etc.
Design experience in Medium to Large Scale multi user Enterprise class products
Good hands on experience in performance tuning of Enterprise class Application
Strong in SDLC practices
Good written and oral communication skills
knowledge of working with a back end database like Postgres, MySQL is preferred
Good knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Python is preferred
Good knowledge of Systems Management and knowledge on Windows and Linux is preferred.
Good knowledge of Agile development methodology (Scrum) including Sprint Planning, running Daily Standups, release planning meetings is preferred
Years of Experience: 6-8 years of SW development experience, preferably product development experience
Strong SDLC knowledge is mandatoryEducational Qualification (BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS/MCA)
