Our award-winning portfolio includes advanced threat protection, enterprise-class encryption and authentication solutions for a variety of platforms. These solutions enable administrator server to centrally control, manage, audit and secure data no matter where it is stored.
We are looking for candidates who have a strong background as a Java based full stack developer, with proven experience working in a LAMP stack. We are looking for highly motivated, goal-oriented individuals who will be responsible for building and maintaining software solutions to meet our business needs. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with Java and Linux development including object-oriented programming, web services, database, and service-oriented architecture. Candidates should be excellent team players, yet capable of working independently, and will be able to manage multiple projects at once. Candidates will work with very little direction and will be comfortable making technical decisions in a team environment.
Develops enterprise server software using the latest Java technologies and tools
Manages development and deployment of the server products to the Linux Virtual Environments
Works with clients and Business Analysts to determine software requirements and system impacts
Generates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests
Investigates new technologies and techniques and researches ongoing industry developments
Works closely with the development team, technical lead, and Solution Architects within the Engineering group to plan ongoing feature development, product maintenance, and management of development teams
Expertise with more than one of the following: Java, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Java Security, REST/JSON, JUnit
Experience with JDBC, Spring JDBC Templates, and SQL (Postgres SQL preferred)
Experience with Linux development (Ubuntu preferred) and deploying apps into and via Linux servers
Proven capability of producing and tuning code that is highly scalable and able to perform reliably over time
Project and task oriented with a focus on details
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with C#/.Net
Experience with Bitbucket, JIRA, and lifecycle/continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Bamboo)
Experience with JMX and JMS
Experience with Python and Bash shell scripting
Background on configuring WINE
Background on Apache HTTPD, Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Tomcat, Jetty
Familiar with Agile Software Development Methodologies (SCRUM)
Familiar with continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment practices (CI/CD)
Familiar with performance analysis tools
A minimum of 5 total years of software development experience, with at least 3 years of enterprise level Java development
Education: Engineering Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
