Extending and maintaining a mature software suite for storage array management feature set.
Authoring detailed Functional Specifications describing enhancements and new functionality being planned

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in C programming in both Windows and Unix/Linux environments, will have an understanding of multi-threading design issues, middleware & network programming, API design and possesses excellent troubleshooting skills. Also have very good analysis and design skills and will be able to incorporate new features and enhancements into an existing, large and complex codebase.
Required: Proficient in C in UNIX/Linux or Windows environments (i.e. various Windows versions, Linux variants and Solaris).
Required: Prior experience in API / Framework / Provider / Server Management Software design, development, and maintenance.
Working knowledge of Enterprise Storage Systems is highly desirable.
Knowledge of EMC VMAX or Symmetrix Storage Platform will be an added plus
Storage based Provisioning and Replication technologies like local replication (Snaps) and remote replication (mirrors) is desirable.
Prior experience of client/server and middleware development a plus.
Ability to work in a team environment
Detail oriented, motivated, and capable of working effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Excellent debugging skills
Proficient in data structure and algorithm design in addition to being proficient in balancing many requirements to choose the best design approach.
