What you’ll achieve

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing IAM world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

As a Sr Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing the next generation IAM product for Dell adhering to the Industry standards. You will work with the global development team and senior Solution Architects to plan ongoing feature development, product maintenance on Dell Identity product.

You will:

  • Work with the dev leads and architects to understand the product requirements

  • You will be responsible for building high quality code.

  • You will be responsible for deploying the code using our CI/CD pipelines

  • You will be responsible for keeping the application up and running in prod with near 0 downtime.

Essential Requirements

  • Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Identity and access Management

  • 6 to 9 years of related experience with at least 1+ years building web services ( REST ) and IAM applications or Security using Microsoft technologies

  • .Net Core and Development Experience

  • Experience building customer facing applications

  • Expertise in most of the following –Web API (MS ASP.Net Core), MVC, JSON, REST, JQuery, .Net Framework, C#, Web Services.

  • Expert knowledge of object oriented programming

  • Knowledge of SQL Server development and database design

  • Familiar with Unit Test, Mock, Test Driven Development, CI/CD pipeline etc

Specific Requirements desirable for IAM:

Familiarity with the following is highly desirable:

  • Oauth2 RFC,

  • OIDC implementation based on Oauth2 RFC,

  • Single-Sign-on,

  • SAML,

  • Federated Identity Management integrations

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) integrations

  • User Identity Life-cycle Management

  • Role and provisioning policy Management (RBAC)

  • Knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with Pivotal Development Processes & Pivotal Cloud Foundry or AWS/Azure

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
