As a Managed Services Solutions Analyst – Intern placement with Dell, your primary responsibility will be to actively contribute to the presales resource team responsible for developing comprehensive Managed Services solutions for pursuits of the highest complexity. Assist leadership and take direction to create services solutions that enable customers to move from their current state, through transition and transformation and into their future desired state.

We are looking for interns who are comfortable taking accountability and can adapt easily to meet the needs of our rapidly evolving business. The ideal intern is customer focused, results driven, innovative, works well on a team, and acts with integrity.

You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting experienced presales resources responsible for developing comprehensive Managed Services solutions for pursuits of the highest complexity.

  • Contributing to creation of services solutions that enable customers to move from their current state, through transition and transformation and into their future desired state.

  • Developing a broader understanding of the technical, financial and commercial aspects of Managed Services solutions.

  • Expand your ability to work cross functionally to develop solutions that form the backbone of winning Managed Services proposals.

  • Educate yourself on Managed Services offerings and the DELL Technologies, processes, delivery frameworks and business and financial models that enable them.

What you can learn:

  • In this role you will learn the fundamental Sales processes for technology services sales focusing on managing elements of corporate IT enterprises to solve complex business problems.

  • While working on a “Pursuit Team” you will learn how to interpret RFP (Request For Proposal) documents, extract business requirements, and bring Dell technologies and services capabilities to bear on driving the required customer business outcomes.

  • You will develop interpersonal skills of working in a team environment to resolve customer challenges and will leverage presentation, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills in the process.

  • You will also gain exposure to interpreting legal language during contract creation and interpretation. This role may also have direct customer interaction at every point up to the “C” level.

  • Meet DELL Intern Eligibility requirements, Including currently attending university in 3+ year degree program in related field of study
