This highly visible role will be well-integrated within the go-to-market team to understand strategic decisions, contact strategy, and marketing plans so he/she can proactively identify key issues requiring audience-level quantitative insight. The CS Analytics Advisor will successfully present his/her quantitative findings by translating complex analysis into a simple and compelling story of actionable customer behavior to be easily understood by business colleagues and senior executives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the regional go-to-market team to identify marketing questions or issues requiring audience-level analysis.

  • Translate business financial targets into an audience segment sales plan that is tracked monthly and root-cause variances to plan.

  • Keep stakeholders informed of marketing performance at the customer level by producing recurring analytical deep dives across customer segments, product, or channels and proactively find opportunities to optimize marketing strategy or specific activities.

  • Contribute to the audience testing roadmap to further improve performance.

  • Support development of the contact strategy with ad-hoc analysis and projects.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an analytical focus.

  • Easily analyzes, draws and synthesizes important insights from complex data.

  • Extremely curious and self-driven to understand business performance through data.

  • Ability to translate a business or marketing question into a well-defined analytical plan that includes data requirements for technical resources to extract the necessary data.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel to conduct analysis from a summarized dataset.

Desirable Requirements

  • Core knowledge of direct marketing and CRM principles (segmentation, lifecycle management, etc.).

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.).
