Solution Scenario Lead

General Summary

The Global Project and Program Management Enablement Solution Scenario Lead is responsible for providing thought leadership for the Global Project and Program Management Enablement team with respect to the development of and maintenance of Solution Scenarios

He/she will working with the field, the New Product Introduction (NPI) team and others build a highly effective set of solution scenarios for the PM community. The Global Project and Program Management Enablement Solution Scenario Lead will ensure the PM organization has at its disposal a set of standard solution scenarios that will enable the PM community to quickly come up to speed on new technology and solutions.

This role will report directly to the Global Project and Program Management Enablement Lead.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Gather the requirements from the field and NPI to identify priority of solution scenarios to support the medium to long term business needs.

  • Create a standard format for the delivery of solution scenarios.

  • Collaborate with the field, product teams and NPI to define content.

  • Communicate the new solution scenarios and road map with the services organisation.

  • Provide on request adequate sales and pre-sales support..

  • Monitor the use of solution scenarios

  • Work to define a set of SME to support the solution scenarios

  • Drive strong governance and consistency of methodology, deliverables and disciplines in order to enhance TCE. Ensure projects are delivered following high quality standards and best practices.

  • Foster development of program management skills. Ensure PM readiness for new and emerging offerings and technologies.

  • Drive Talent Management and Recruiting strategy alongside with Consulting leadership

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrate a mastery of operating in a complex matrix environment experience in managing regionally distributed groups. Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively with multiple levels of management across many cross functional teams

  • Successful track record in complex IT services delivery project/program management (multi customer, multi-site, multi project multiyear)

  • Given proof of external thought leadership

  • Self-motivated hands on approach with an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines

  • Proactive approach to tackling issues and problem solving

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills

  • Ideally, but not essential, have project management certification
