Cybersecurity Senior Advisor, Dell Financial Services

The Dell Security & Resiliency Organization (SRO) manages the security and resiliency risk across all aspects of Dell’s business. What you’ll achieve

The Cybersecurity Senior Advisor will collaborate with internal clients regarding Security and Resiliency information assurance requirements for internal systems, process, and vendors within environments of varying complexity level. The candidate will also manage security service delivery and measure compliance against regulatory standards. This position will report to the Business Unit Security Officer and Head of Security for Dell Financial Services.

You will:

  • Provide program or portfolio-level guidance to business unit leaders functions and oversee global security services

  • Develop relationships cross-functionally and guide clients in development and implementation of security controls ensuring that the business products are aligned with cybersecurity standards, policies and guidelines.

  • Collaborate with internal risk and compliance teams, IT program managers, and external auditors acting as a point of contact for security compliance, cyber risk and audit matters.

  • Partner and drive security awareness to ensure secure security is ingrained in all we do.

  • Orchestrate the provisioning of central global security and resiliency services to support business unit security objectives; Present high-quality metrics and dashboards that deliver cybersecurity compliance insights and to IT program and business leaders

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in Financial Services and Regulatory environments; Ability and experience in Sox, PCI and Industry standards ISO27001, NIST CSF

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities; Ability to drive highly complex, cross-organizational initiatives through the influencing of and negotiation with stakeholders who at times may hold competing equities

  • Ability to confidently and effectively present complex technical topics to senior non-technical audiences; Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a larger matrixed organization

  • Advanced data manipulation and presentation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Results-driven and accountability-minded; Experience in enterprise risk management, with proven ability to drive security

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Risk Management, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
