Markets the organization’s products/services through direct and indirect channels such as Value Added Reseller (VAR), Value Added Distributors (VAD), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Distributors, Dealers, Alliances, Partners or Retail
Works with Corporate Communications team and business leaders to increase visibility, education and awareness to key industry audiences through use of press releases, case studies, press briefings, featured stories, speaking opportunities and analyst briefings
Determines most effective segment/vertical sales tools and drives usage to maximize sales productivity. Ensures that sales and marketing teams understand and are able to fully utilize tools to enhance sales and marketing activities
Identifies segment market, competition, customer, sales requirements and uses this knowledge to adopt marketing programs, in conjunction with segment Business Managers, Marcom and BI on quarterly basis to support segment achievement of financial plan and P&L
Owns the quarterly marketing plan and planning roadmap
Analyzes strategic advantages, competitive programs and customer needs
Works with Channel Planning and Procurement as appropriate for engaging vendors required for development and execution of marketing/Marcom programs
6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Advanced knowledge of business and marketing strategy, concepts tools and techniques, including promotions, direct mail, customer relations, and advertising
Strong knowledge of cross-channel marketing techniques such as Online and Direct Marketing.
Strong project management ability
Advanced understanding of the market and customers business
Influence cross-functional teams/work groups
Strong financial understanding
