IT Software Engineer - Remote Romania

Our IT Software Engineer team turns business requirements into technology solutions by designing, coding and testing/debugging applications, as well as documenting procedures for use and constantly seeking quality improvements.

What you’ll achieve

As an IT Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.

You will:

  • Monitor production applications for stability, scalability and performance Respond to production application incidents, conduct analysis and determine path to resolution

  • Develop solutions for improving software development processes to reduce/eliminate repeat production related incidents

  • Automate solutions to reduce/eliminate manual repeat tasks

  • Automate testing of software applications

  • Conduct and supervise production launches and post-launch support, coordinating with geographically distributed teams ; Configuration/Coding within the system as a part of an agile team working from stories and defects

Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge of application programming and procedures to tackle complex problems; Understanding of ITIL/ITOM processes and their relationships

  • Hands on Java Script, HTML, XML, AJAX, AngularJS, JSON, CSS

  • Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps; Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Experience with customer service in a fast paced environment ; Desire to learn new tools and processes

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field; 2 to 5 years of validated experience in software development

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with ServiceNow

  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops
