Lead Specialist, Production Control

That’s the remit of our Production Control team, which oversees the planning, forecasting, scheduling and monitoring of materials and orders through the production process. We approve quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization and perform scheduling and material requirements using appropriate tools. As well as reviewing stock against project requirements, we estimate and record the production rates.

What you’ll achieve
Global production planning is at the heart of Dell’s Global Supply Chain Operations planning and monitoring the execution of end to end supply chain on a daily basis. The responsibility for the planning and execution of customer order flow on an end to end perspective. Tracks the orders in backlog and brings in the necessary stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks in order to deliver to our commitment to the customer. Plans material requirement lists and production plans for the manufacturing of products. Performs ship planning based on sales forecasts and backlog goals. Leads event management activities that impact the Supply Chain and provides mitigation to minimize impact. Provides a scorecard for the Health of the supply chain to provide an objective view of performance.
Communicate with production team on the materials replenishment based on the production capacity.
Responsible for part deviation management/ order reassignment/ order delivery/materials shortage management.
Supports buyer / planner in ageing inventory depletion & drive production to clear all aging orders.
Review daily order backlog/ materials ETA.
Work closely with order management team, production team, purchasing.

Bachelor's Degree in any field with 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge In Microsoft Excel.
Highly skilled in building influential relationships and delivering in a cross functional.
Able to work from Tuesday to Saturday
Ability to lead project will be added advantage
Good analytical and decision making ability
Must be self-motivated, capable of working in a fast paced environment
