Global Production Planning (GPP) Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) is a key function in Dell’s Global Supply Chain Operations enabling and monitoring the execution of end to end supply chain across Dell’s ODM manufacturing sites on a daily basis. GPP ODM is responsible for planning & governance of key areas like weekly and quarterly sales, shipments, backlog levels, customer experience metrics etc. and planning, monitoring and analysis of all key supply chain metrics ranging from demand planning to customer delivery. The key objective is to help Dell’s ODM & global operations to streamline processes, cut costs and improve efficiencies. Key Responsibilities
Own Front-end piece of Digital Transformation efforts web UI design, development & maintenance, UI/UX ownership, revamp/scale existing UI, application development and integration – needs working closely with backend team.
Partnering with both internal & external sources to gather & examine data from disparate sources with the goal of automating the reporting and online dashboards
Adapting projects, programs or methods based on customer or business partner feedback
Presenting problem analysis (data related) and recommended solutions in a creative and logical manner to wide set of stakeholders across different business functions and geographies
Promoting, deploying and sharing innovative ideas, towards continual improvement
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 1-2+ years’ relevant experience or similar industry with supply chain exposure.
Masters/Bachelor’s in computer science or in Supply Chain with extensive hands-on exposure to web development & IT applications.
Prior hands-on experience in web front-end development, UI/UX, data management, automation, IT programming, data mining.
Extensive hand-on experience in Angular, ASP.Net Web Forms(C#) & Web Service (C#), jQuery, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Visual Studio
Excellent eye for web-design and UI/UX development experience
Good knowledge of Python, Database Systems (SQL Server/MySQL) , Data Visualization Tools, Data Modelling & Analytics Tools, Business Intelligence Tools
Other attributes like being a team player and a self-starter attitude is a must
Desirable Requirements
Familiarity with Simulation (AnyLogic/ARENA) tools, RPA tools (Automation Anywhere), SharePoint will an added advantage.
Strong eye for details, analytical and comfortable in working with numbers to develop applications.
Able to drive sustainability in the development work - reusable code/library for future use.
Good articulation / communication (written and verbal)
