Within the Procurement & Supply Chain at Dell, we are looking for a Senior Analyst, Logistics to join our team in Dell Penang (APCC2 – Bukit Tengah), Malaysia .

Manage day to day operations improvements, innovations, change requests

  • Senior Analyst’s role is to be orchestrator of Dell’s product flowing from various manufacturing facilities to diverse set of end customers.

  • Primary liaison between the Logistics Team and our 3PL partners with Dell’s sales /sales operations, services, manufacturing and project management organizations.

  • Drive the end to end Logistics operations from planning to execution. This includes driving the backlog and capacity planning within the warehousing, freight, call center/customer service and transport operations

  • Follow up actions and maintain operations integrity for any delivery issues.

  • Manage day to day logistic operation with 3PLs to measure effectiveness of operations, drive corrective actions and review feedback on recommended improvements if needed

  • Support end of Quarter/IDC cut off activities including daily calls and inventory audits

Manage IT systems Integrity

  • Maintain integrity in data feeds/data reports and drive issues to closure

  • Maintain logistics related parameters (e.g. Lead-times, calendars in Dell applications)

  • Work closely with IT on open issues

Success Indicators:

  • Perfect Order Index – Logistics cycle time, Ship to Complete, Same Day Ship, Must Arrive by Date, POD Completeness, On time performance

  • Logistics Cost of Dissatisfaction – Missing, Wrong or Damaged, Net Promoter Score

  • Operational Performance – e.g. Receiving times, data velocity and completeness, inventory accuracy, On time milestone/status update

Essential Requirements

Education and Experience

2+ years working experience. Strong exposure to the 3PL industry will be an added advantage. Fresh graduates with prior working experience are also encouraged to apply. Candidates with IT background and interest in Supply Chain are strongly recommended to apply.
