Sr. Advisor, Inventory Management

Our Inventory Management team within Materials and Procurement takes charge of the security and accountability of our inventory by documenting transactions, verifying processes and procedures and reviewing systems. We conduct physical inventories and lead cycle counts, correcting discrepancies where possible. We also audit incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate inventory process activities to support the Global Inventory Control Team.

Identify issues driving inventory variances or operational or systematic issues and develop solutions that address the root-cause.

Lead detailed analysis / transactional mismatch solutions

Ensure financial reliability through detail inventory system to system reconciliations, analysis, monitoring, and audits

Drive for root cause/corrective actions with proper closure and action plan with stakeholders.

Provides recommendations through factual analysis and provides executive level presentations

Acts as a change champion

Supports and lead regional/functional Supply Chain Initiatives/Project enablement.

Proactively looks for areas of optimization on a regional/functional scale

End to End Supply Chain Knowledge

Identifies potential efficiency gains and propose/design automation to increase team effectiveness

Monitor and assess controls (CSA & SOX) to ensure effective & efficient control environment

Essential Requirements

Team-oriented with high ability to influence stakeholders

Ability to independently own and manage multiple concurrent tasks

Strong communication skills with ability to interact with various levels of Management

Self-starter and deadline-driven

Strong attention to detail.

8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or 6+years of relevant experience with a master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance/Accounting, and/or Inventory control.

Advanced Supply Chain management skills

Solid knowledge of Financial and Accounting concepts

Strong change management and program management skills

Ability to analyze operational and financial information and develop solutions

Understanding of supply chain processes and controls

Desirable Requirements

Supply Chain Certification (APICS, ISM, PMP)

Experience with inventory warehouse systems

Experience with Accounting reconciliation processes

Ability to influence cross-functionally

Ability to communicate effectively
