When you’re creating technology for a changing world, you need to know where you stand in terms of your inventory. Our Inventory Management team within Materials and Procurement takes charge of the security and accountability of our inventory by documenting transactions, verifying processes and procedures and reviewing systems. We conduct physical inventories and lead cycle counts, correcting discrepancies where possible. We also audit incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop team members to achieve performance objectives and grow in capabilities.

  • Ensure financial reliability through reconciliations, count activities, monitoring, and audits.

  • Build and establish inventory transaction analysis to identify issues and develop solutions

  • Establish and manage stakeholder communication process.

  • Assess physical and system inventory controls for compliance with Dell policy requirements

  • Identify issues driving inventory variances or operational issues and develop solutions that address the root-cause

  • Lead and drive innovation and transformation initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience in supply chain, operations, finance/accounting, and/or inventory control.

  • Bachelor degree in business related field

  • Experience with inventory warehouse systems, data mining, and working with large datasets

  • Ability to analyze operational and financial information and develop solutions

  • Experience with identifying business and financial risks and developing mitigation activities

  • Ability to influence others and collaborate on solutions

  • Understanding of supply chain processes
