Dell is looking for a 5G Solution Security Expert, to take part in a once in a career opportunity being part of building something from scratch and shepherding it into the marketplace.
The Solution Security Expert will be a key member of the 5G Solution Engineering team. The team is responsible for the end-2-end solution of a technology new to Dell for addressing the demands of 5G.
The candidate will be the primary subject matter expert for the solution's/product’s overall security capabilities, continually evaluating and driving improvements in the it's security posture. What you’ll achieve
As a Product Security Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments
• Prepare, review and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems
• Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systems

Drive the continuous improvement of the product’s security posture through all phases of development
Bring security expertise to requirement analysis, design discussions, implementation reviews, and test planning
Perform security assessments for existing and upcoming features and products, and work with stakeholders to understand and improve results
Bring industry-leading security practices into the everyday development practices of a global team
Communicate with senior leadership, individual engineers, and security stakeholders across the company to align practices and regularly review progress
Perform security scans and analyze results, drive adoption of static analysis and related practices
Regularly re-evaluate the security posture of the product, including participating in threat modeling exercises and reviewing against corporate security benchmarks
Advanced product and application security background
Experience triaging security scans, analyzing security vulnerabilities
Understanding of Threat Modeling, and the principles behind common web application security vulnerabilities
Comfortable communicating complex security concepts to a variety of audiences
Experience with REST APIs and similar integration technologies
Ability to effectively work with global team environment
Ability to deliver on short-term objectives without losing focus on long-term goals
Proven software development experience, including exposure to all phases of the software development lifecycle
Comfortable with automated build pipeline tools and ability to comfortably operate in a Linux environment
Working knowledge of security tools like Fortify, Black Duck, or similar
Knowledge and experience with Agile development practices
