Dell Outside Sales Specialist - Networking in Canberra, Australia

What you’ll achieve

As an Outside Sales Specialist, you will proactively identify and solve customer business needs by providing subject matter expertise and creating solutions using Dell’s products and services.

You will:

  • Drive the sales strategy to ensure that Dell Networking sales targets are met

  • Develop new accounts and/or expands existing accounts to sell networking solutions

  • Achieve targeted and forecasted sales goals for the Networking business in the segment/regions of responsibility

  • Conduct business planning and reporting (sales forecast/commit and pipeline development)

  • Lead sales process for Dell Networking opportunities

  • Maintain effective customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers in order to understand the customer's requirements, match them with the organization's solutions, and close the deal

  • Collaborate with pre-sales resources to ensure that designed networking solution matches the project requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Consistent track record of network solution sales into Enterprise Accounts

  • In depth understanding of a networking market and solutions (LAN & Wireless LAN, SDN and Open Networking)

  • Dell Networking, Cisco, HP, Juniper, Mellanox, Extreme Networks, Brocade

  • Ability to assesses potential networking sales opportunities and develop value propositions

  • Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level relationships with customers and business partners

Desirable Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience in a relationship selling role
