Software System Engineer
Enterprise Datacenter Testing team ensures that our customers have the software systems they need for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and deliver software systems modifications as well as enhancements of new products. We oversee product development at all stages: planning, designing, developing and testing operating systems, compilers, routers, utilities, databases, embedded management and control devices, plus internet-related tools.

What you’ll achieve
As a Software System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise applications on top of various Dell EMC infrastructure solutions. Plan and execute the test plan to ensure our products meeting enterprise level customer expectations. You will work with various product business units to gain deep knowledge about how each product is designed and how these products are working together to address our customer needs.
You will:
Engage with different business units to understand how each product is designed and tested
Involved in solution design to build an enterprise customer like datacenter environment and build different application solutions on top of the system under test
Provide tech-book or cook-book for customer to deploy DELLEMC products in different solutions.
Create automation scripts to develop and manage testing solution in a scalable and efficient manner

Essential Requirements
Excellent communication, analytical, debugging skill and critical thinking
Strong interest in hardware and software testing domain
Proven scripting and programming experience (e.g., Python, Go).
Good understanding of virtualization platforms such as KVM/XEN/LXC/VMWare
Fluent English is a must
Desirable Requirements
Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent 1 - 3 years relevant experience
Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure or cloud native application is a plus
