Director of Corporate Communications Dell Boomi
The Director of Corporate Communications is responsible for public relations, analyst relations and communications to support Dell Boomi’s market position, corporate strategies and key initiatives. Working with executive leadership, the director will create and manage external communications programs, develop and influence key messages, write communications, train and prepare spokespeople, and disseminate information through external communications vehicles. The person will promote and protect the Dell Boomi brand and reputation through proactive and strategic communications programs that positively influence external stakeholders via proactive media outreach, press/analyst briefings, and social media channels. The director will also strategically monitor press coverage of Dell Boomi and its competitors.
Determines communications strategy and execute programs to deliver communications objectives throughout the organization.
Drive corporate strategy and message development, pitch and announcement strategies.
Develop branding initiatives, internal communications and external media relations.
Drive and execute events for press, media and analysts
Write and develop presentations, speeches, talking points, press releases, background materials, bylined articles, white papers etc., to promote thought leadership, proprietary research, products and services
Assist in developing keynote content for executive and customer advocate speakers
Ensure a steady pipeline of company news: industry awards, partner wins, product launches, customer stories, surveys.
Collaborate closely with the product leads
Manage budgets on a quarterly basis
Manage agency relationships on a global basis
Manage media relations and maximize media opportunities.
BA/BS or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in communications with a bias to the enterprise software or SaaS industry
Strong management skills, commitment to spend time to grow the team
Demonstrated creativity in driving executive communications and thought leadership activity
Write and communicate clearly, strong PowerPoint skills is a plus
Strong executive presence while providing counsel
Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
