When you're creating technology that drives human progress, everything needs to be spot on. Our Supplier Process Engineering team works with our suppliers to enable them to produce materials and components of the highest quality. Working closely with our product developers, we select and monitor vendors and suppliers who can meet our high engineering and quality standards. In addition, we perform regular auditing and undertake design and development engineering assignments to develop new products or update existing products. We’re also experts in establishing systems and procedures to enhance overall quality.
Facilitate the development of the GSQE Cork team and provide structure to operations within the group
Provide leadership and support to the team, continually challenging the current model and methods
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences to develop and deliver engaging presentations that influence and persuade leadership on recommendations
Partner with GO Cork Manufacturing Operations and global technical teams through leading cross functional process improvement and issue resolution projects
Maintain supply-chain and quality KPIs, ensure the supply base is compliant to all standards, procedures and specifications
Performs all people management functions: performance reviews, staff calls, 1x1’s, recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, career development, talent retention and motivation.
Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of relevant IT experience
Effective communication and concise reporting skills
Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team in support of Manufacturing Operations and Supply-Chain Quality Procurement Goals
Demonstrated accomplishments in leading cross functional teams
Passion to realise the Dell Culture Code
Team Leadership Experience
Leadership with highly effective interpersonal style, customer focused and strong problem-solving ability
Ability to engage at all levels within Dell
Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to influence without authority, innovative thinking, and ability to establish a high degree of credibility with cross-functional stakeholders
Effective in a matrixed, multi-cultural, global environment.
Project Management certification (PMI or qualified in PMP project management)
