Playing a critical role in contributing to the company’s performance, the special pricing team supports the sales effort to win more business whilst working to maximize profitability levels, a dynamic team responsible for providing critical support in the areas of pricing, deal structure and business approvals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Principal deliverables will be the development of our pricing team to support EMEA Storage Price Plan, ensure sustainable profitability, liquidity and growth through the support, review and approval of special pricing requests across all segments and routes to market. The scope of the role will be management of assigned regions and will cover transactional special pricing, contractual special pricing (tailored) and all levels in between. The Pricing manager responsibilities include partnering with business unit and segment sales leadership teams to structure pricing which helps the business achieve its financial and strategic goals.

  • Other duties include managing a team of Special Pricers who are responsible for: transactional pricing review, Deal P&Ls, account/pricing strategy analysis, pricing controls, win/loss tracking, sales training etc. In addition to partnering with Sales leadership, this role will frequently be required to partner with various cross functional teams such as Controllers, Contracts, Accounting, Marketing and Sales Ops to align on strategic priorities.

  • The individual must have strong business acumen, good partnering skills at the leadership level, strong management skills, comfort dealing with ambiguity, adept at handling multiple tasks, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
