Remote Proactive Services (RPS), manages many common change activities remotely. It is our goal to allow customers to get the maximum performance and reliability from their products through proactive, efficient and flexible remote change management services and activities. Our team is currently geographically dispersed across Cork, Cairo, Draper, Costa Rica, India and Shanghai. Remote Proactive offers the following benefits:

  • Broad portfolio of remote change-control activities

  • Convenient, proactive approach for implementation of planned changes - scheduled within a specified maintenance window

  • Proven processes, tools and knowledge to safely and conveniently upgrade and service your global investment

  • Safe and secure change management conducted by experienced, highly skilled professionals

  • Perform remote change management for installed systems

Key Responsibilities

  • After training/learning period including on the job training, manages own schedule of cases, which includes remotely accessing customer systems and following detailed procedures in unique and sometimes complex customer environments.

  • Effectively communicates procedural and technical issues to internal and external customers in a fast paced and customer critical environment.

  • Will need the ability to engage or escalate to more senior resources to resolve more complex issues.

  • As a 24X7X365 organization, shift work, holidays, weekends and on-call responsibilities may be required.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Troubleshooting skills

  • Customer Service skills

  • Strong product/technology/industry knowledge

Desirable Requirements

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment

  • Linux/Unix skills desired but not essential.
