Dell Principal Software Engineer – IT (Technical Architect) in Cyberjaya, Malaysia

Technical Architect

We are looking for a Technical Architect who can work with various IT business segments within Dell for development of integration and ensure stability of platform.

Role Overview

  • Provides Technical Designs (TDs) that define how a functional design will be technically enabled.

  • Provided Solution to complex Enterprise level applications.

  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to development of best practices and standards of associate application developers and application developers within your immediate group and act as Solution Delivery Lead (SDL) representing IT on particular projects.

  • Responsible for software design and development for external customer products. Prepare, review, and analyze software specifications for products and systems.

  • Responsible for following on Problems originating from Production Failures; and ensure follow on closure of all Task for short-term and Long-term resolution of any Production defects.

  • Lead a team of L3 Ops and L4 Developer to manage over all stability across multiple platforms.

  • Serves as technical consultant to leaders in the IT organization and functional user groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be working with a large, highly skilled team on a critical project.

  • You will need to be Hands-on Developer who is highly skilled on Java & Spring.

  • You will be expected to contribute to design and implementation decisions, take feedback constructively and work towards the common goals of ensuring stability of Production platforms.

  • You will be responsible for writing Functional and Technical Designs following Dell Templates.

  • You will lead team of Developers.

  • You must be able to communicate effectively with team members: both core and extended members.

Essential Requirements:

  • Should have sound knowledge of Java, J2EE architecture and Enterprise Integration patterns .

  • Sound knowledge of Messaging System Architecture and Event driven architecture .

  • Expertise in XML, JSON, Spring Core , Spring Web Services , Spring batch, Spring integration.

  • Expertise in Rest and SOAP webservices implementation.

  • Should have knowledge of Git and CI/CD.

  • Practicing TDD using Junit, Mockito, Easy Mock or equivalent frameworks.

  • Database Experience and Hibernate (ORM), or MyBatis .

  • Good understanding of Data Structure and Algorithms.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Knowledge of cloud foundry or any other cloud service.

  • Knowledge of Rabbit MQ , KAFKA Messaging system.

  • Experience working with a caching technology e.g. Gemfire , Redis .

  • Agile methodology experience - SCRUM

  • Understanding of GoF Design Patterns, Enterprise Application Patterns and/or Sun's J2EE Patterns and anti-patterns
