Cross Product Lead

What you’ll achieve

As a Cross product Lead, you will:

  • Works across portfolio & products to drive solutions to business problems for growth or enterprise level efforts

  • May have deeper than usual technical knowledge for product about how existing systems work to aid Product Architects

  • Advocates story priority across product lines & facilitates work between teams

  • Rolls up outcome attainment, roadmap & learning across backlogs

  • Be responsible for the design of a specific service area or technology within a broader services solution

  • Assists with conducting research on new technologies and making relevant recommendations to management

  • Interface with application vendors, technical resources and other technology partners as necessary

  • Perform triage on issues, provide technical solutions, and stay up to date on software releases and updates

  • Develops and maintains metrics around the system and institutes a process for continuous improvement

  • Defines and ensures continuous monitoring procedures are set according to the standard procedures and requirements

  • Monitoring various IT components and applications for trend analysis and continuous availability

  • Represent the product team during Major Incidents, perform RCA’s and drive to resolution.

  • Report on key systems administrative metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Essential Requirements

  • B.S. in computer science or related field, or 6-8 years equivalent experience

  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, can-do attitude, urgency, and drive

  • Advanced knowledge of security trends and best practices

  • A high degree of innovation & creativity to resolve technical problems

  • Excellent functional and technical knowledge on Operating System, Database, Networking, VM Engineering, Load Balance, Storage

  • Knowledge in tools like RPM, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, KernelCare, GIT, RunDeck, Kenna, Nexpose

  • Experience working in a challenging and fast paced environment, ability to work well under sustained pressure and tight deadlines

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills, as well as accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable Requirements

  • RPM, Ansible, Docker Containers, Kubernetes, Kafka

  • Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, GCP

  • Experience with GPU technologies a plus
