What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Consultant, you will leverage in-depth industry knowledge of the business environment and technical solutions to provide technical and consultative guidance and help the customer increase their operational efficiencies.
Serve as technical consultant and technical leader
Proficient in Technical Illustration and technical writing skills
Analyze data, recommends, and implements upgrades and configuration changes to Infrastructure architecture, software application architecture and relevant services
Defines performance and capacity targets and develops tools and programs for monitoring, supporting, and measuring the infrastructure and software applications
Lead teams to resolve unusually complex Infrastructure problems and provides highly creative solution
System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains
Evaluate new technology options and vendor products for quick onboarding of automation

10 to 15 years of Infrastructure Engineering experience
Dell and VMware product expertise
Experience of POMA management
Experience in Cloud Technologies like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Scripting Skills: Strong scripting (e.g. Python, Ansible) and Automation Skills
Lead the team accountable for health of Dell Technologies offers including 24/7 monitoring, incident management, and security
Lead customer engagement, coordination and communication on service events, outages and escalations
Build e2e support structure across services, product development, platform and SRE teams for optimization of operations and reliability of services
Improve service observability through driving investments in forensics and monitoring of latency, error rate, traffic and saturation
Institute proactive testing of service resiliency and supportability as part of release process
Define code types of alerts needed to monitor health; perform routine stress test on aaS offers to find blind spots
Advanced ability to work effectively with senior management
Customer focused & Problem-solving skills
Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge
Strong analytical and communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above
