The primary objective of this role is to provide Business Operations support to the North America Enterprise Global Compute & Networking (GCN) Sales team. This includes but not limited to business planning, reporting, budgeting, quota setting/rolling/loading, forecasting and pipeline management, analyzing and identifying opportunities to maximize revenue streams, measuring key performance indicator, providing business insights to management to make informed decision.

This position will partner with various organizations, collaborating with Finance, Marketing, Business Planners, Sales Operations and Strategy Leads to achieve organization’s strategic priorities while fostering a culture of engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting, Strategic Planning and Analysis

  • Participate in AOP setting in cooperation with regional FP&A and Business Operations Lead

  • Analysis of regional performance against AOP

  • Trending analysis at territory/deal level (e.g. deal size, growth of business segments/verticals, customer trends, etc)

  • Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization

  • Work closely with quota planners and sales compensation team, to ensure quotas are optimally allocated and accuracy of commission calculation

  • Support Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews

  • Territory planning and sales productivity optimization

  • Coordinate reporting and analysis for Sales Management

  • Adhoc analytics as required

Forecasting

  • Act as the coordinator among FP&A, Sales and Business Operations

  • Co-host weekly sales forecast call and identify risks/opportunities to forecast

  • Prepare and analyze revenue call and pipeline sufficiency in timely manner

  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Business/Sales Operations function

  • Strong team player with the ability to effectively collaborate across the organization, with regional and global teams

  • Experience and understanding of sales methodology and best practices of a high performing field sales organization

  • Knowledge of sales process, forecasting, opportunity and pipeline management, reporting, analysis and market trends

  • Understanding of sales cycle and customer purchase drivers

  • Exceptional communications skills

  • Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to balance between competing priorities, able to be flexible and creative

  • Strong at building and managing relationships

  • Skillful in developing and implementing clear and consistent processes, models and tools

  • A strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
