What you’ll achieve

Manage pre-sales field technical sales team members and lead support activities for the development and implementation of complex, and specialized products/applications/services/solutions.

You will:

  • Hire, manage and develop a diverse and effective team of Sales Engineering professionals 

  • Set focus and direction for sales engineers and/or product specialists aligned to industry vertical or business

  • Drive business process improvement activities

  • Collaborate with cross-business and cross-functional resources and influence both internal and external stakeholders

Essential Requirements:

  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of managerial/leadership experience

  • Extensive pre-sales, enterprise architecture or related experience including previous hands-on experience in the data center environment, spanning storage, virtualization, convergence, Cloud and/or Big Data.

  • Experience in multiple enterprise/data center technologies that may include but not limited to Compute, Networking, DevOps, etc

  • Understanding of the functional areas of a service level to drive business process improvements across multiple accounts driving the strategy

  • Strong ability to apply advanced concepts in the technical engineering field to practical business problems

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong level of Dell solutions and technical knowledge

  • Understanding of the functional areas of a service level to drive business process improvements across multiple accounts driving the strategy
