Channel Services Business Specialist

Location: Remote - VA/MD/DE/PA/DC area

What you’ll achieve

As Channel Services Business Specialist , you will be responsible for driving Dell's overall footprint and profitability with assigned Partners by building a trusted advisor relationship to the Partner and Dell partner account team. You will drive both Partner and Dell profitability through services delivery enablement and programs. You will promote and drive Dell’s Services brand recognition. You'll be the single point of contact for services escalations. You'll align with Sales for joint account planning and identifying market opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the services development of Solution Providers (resellers, distributors and others as defined)

  • Drive a strategic vision plans for services delivery that aligns to investment areas

  • Align with Sales for joint planning and market opportunity identification

  • Align actions with the channel sales PAM/NAM, PSE and services sales SSE covering his/her partners and assigned territory

  • Review and define Partner and Dell services portfolio and competencies to increase overall profitability through services enablement

  • Continuously review QoQ services delivery plan with Sales and Partner specific to ongoing competency investment and resell of Dell branded services

  • Educate and review Partner’s status QoQ against defined and required delivery performance metrics, provides get well plan as necessary

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree

  • Familiarity with channel structure and reseller business model

  • Knowledge of the technical aspects of hardware/software subject matter

  • Understanding of business environment

  • Understanding of Dell's products, services and their value add to partners and customers

  • Vendor management skills
