Principal Product Manager, Identity Engineering

What you’ll achieve

To drive innovation in product development at Dell Technologies, we need forward-thinking people on our Product Management team within the Identity and Access Management organization. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be work with engineering teams and business stakeholders to build the best in class search and discovery API's that power Dell's online and offline experiences. We are looking for thought leaders who have strong product instincts, excellent communication, and technical skills, and have a good understanding of product design principles. The ideal candidate will also excel at leading without authority and driving data driven decision making with cross functional team members.

You will:

  • Understand business goals and objectives as they relate to customer use cases and solutions. You will be working with cross functional teams to deliver the committed OGSM's (Objective, Goals, Strategy and Measurements), KPIs and other measurable success criteria

  • Demonstrate deep user empathy and strong user experience sensibilities. You will be shipping large successful products, including defining vision, strategy, outcome-driven product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs.

  • Experience building, owning and managing technical roadmaps for scalable, resilient and high-performance API's.

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and adapt your communication style for the audience. You will also collaborate with engineers and designers as part of small co-located teams to get things done in a rapidly changing environment

  • Work with other eCommerce Product Managers to jointly craft solutions in support of our customers’ needs and increase the adoption of our platform and capabilities.

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience in a professional role Relevant Product Management experience in building technical products for ecommerce or online customer experiences

  • Experience articulating and testing product hypotheses Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey analytic insights effectively to both IT and business audiences

  • Strong teamwork, business acumen, and customer advocacy skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technology with engineering background

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • IAM foundational experience
