The Enterprise Infrastructure Senior Sales Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to expand your product, business management expertise & take a leadership position in this key function.
This is a highly dynamic role where you will have the opportunity to work with talented people across the various departments at Dell EMC & be highly influential in delivering the optimal business result for the company.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be executing the EI Business result, driving effective sales engagement while managing product line. You will ensure an effective funnel build on all key products.
Solution thinking will be key in identifying opportunities to convert general Enterprise Pipeline into complete solutions that feature key products. You will engage with sales teams and customers across the region. In addition to the customer-facing remit, you will be responsible for evangelizing and enabling the Dell EMC sales teams. Regular visits to each hub within your assigned country will be required.
Other key tasks involve monitoring & analysing current product & new product trends, marketing strategies and pricing strategies.
Become a trusted advisor to Presales & Sales as well as the extended EI team, delivering support & expertise within desired SLAs
Effectively report & present individual weekly performance metrics to peers & SMT Country level
Deliver revenue & margin quotas across each of the three Lines of Business within Enterprise Infrastructure:
Partner Solutions: The integration of technology products from our Partner Resell portfolio to provide end-to-end solutions to our customers
Data center Infrastructure: Power & Cooling from our Partners APC & Vertiv. To extend the Dell EMC Data Center Solution beyond what is perceived as our core products to provide the full framework to our customers’ Data Centers
Upgrades - Parts & upgrades for our customer's install base of servers, storage & networking to obtain improved productivity on their investments.
Excellent communication & presentation skills at all levels, overall Passion for Technology
Deeply analytical with the ability to diagnose market or sales execution issues & develop creative solutions that are measurable & repeatable.
Deep Dell technical expertise regarding Dell's server, software defined storage & networking offers
Natural penchant to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders
Customer-first ethos & mind-set & demonstrate excellent customer service standards and advocacy
Able to architect, communicate & sell complex Enterprise Solutions to a prospective customer
Self-starter with an innate want to own & drive a business to success with integrity
At least 5 years’ experience in Technical or Service sales role
Ideally a candidate that loves to learn as our role typically involve 4 hours a week training & learning.
