Process Development Senior Engineer
Lead OEM Operations Engineering in region with new product introductions and the sustaining of OEM enterprise and client products. Coordinates closely with the OEM Product Group, extended teams, and Sales support organizations to scope, plan, deliver & sustain customized OEM products. Practical application in basic and advanced problem solving methodologies to obtain root-cause to support continuous improvement throughout manufacturing process. Interfaces with x-functional teams and leads regional extended teams. Drives regional strategic initiatives and projects supporting manufacturing improvements.

The OEM Global Operations Engineering team is focused on introducing new products and customizations of products to enable OEM business unit sales of enterprise class products (servers, storages, networking) and Client products (Workstations, PC, IoT). The team supports our products throughout their life-cycle and resolves engineering/production issues to minimize business and operational disruptions. This team supports and will collaborate with the OEM Sales and support organizations to achieve business goals. Working with highly skilled engineers, you will:
Lead new product introduction and sustaining projects in regional factory – coordinate extended teams efforts, communicate with Core/Project/Business Operations/Services teams, solve engineering issues, assess & mitigate project and engineering risk
Utilizes metrics to improve new production/process/product quality throughout life of the program
Ensures Operations achieves Ready to Ship Release through product development model/process
Drives quality improvements by risk assessment/mitigation eliminating sources of defects in the design, supplier and manufacturing processes
Communicate to Operational leadership team on technical root-cause analysis, program status, deliverables and other product/manufacturing issues
Ability to understand and help resolve Electrical, Mechanical, Software and Test failure modes
BS / MS in Engineering or Technical related field
Multi-task and program/project manage multiple projects / manufacturing related issues
Minimum of 4 years in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Problem Solving
Ability to drive technical issue resolution through advanced problem solving techniques
Program Management, must have managed projects from concept through final completion with appropriate communication updates
Proficiency in office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluency in English and Spanish
6-Sigma Black Belt or equivalent required
Proven ability to drive action plans/strategies to reduce overall manufacturing transformation cost, cycle time and improve quality
Strong communication and Customer facing skill set
