The Marketing Contact Strategist drives customer acquisition and retention strategies across the entire marketing mix. With a strong direct-to-customer business, he/she will utilize a robust marketing database to create, manage, and optimize a fact-based contact strategy in direct marketing channels such as direct mail, email, and outbound calling.

As a marketing innovator, Dell has a dedicated AdTech team in-house that is pushing the boundaries of ‘direct’ marketing to nearly all marketing channels. The Contact Strategist will integrate and test multi-channel marketing techniques that expand Dell’s ability to directly segment and manage specific audiences of people or businesses in traditionally non-direct advertising channels such as Display, TV, Social, and Search.

Partnering with the Marketing Go-to-Market team, the Contact Strategist will utilize this multi-channel marketing tool-set and creatively balance analytics with CRM strategy to optimize the entire marketing mix in the Brazil Small Business market within an ‘audience-first’ framework.

Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell is at the forefront of customer engagement. Responsible for a specific location, department or product, our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. Interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, they provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.

You Will:

  • Understand go-to-market plans across sales and marketing to identify customer-centric opportunities and actions within email, direct mail, outbound calling, digital, and media advertisements.

  • Partner with Campaign Operations Lead to create campaign forecasts, performance reports, and conduct post-campaign ROI data management to re-calibrate the go-forward strategy.

  • Maintain governance on audience lists to ensure an optimal customer experience and allocation of marketing resources.

  • Ensure all campaign requirements like test design, creative versioning, offer codes or execution needs are flawlessly executed.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong English speaking and writing skills to effectively interact within a global team.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.

  • Direct-to-consumer experience across marketing strategy, campaign development, or inside sales experience in at least one of the following data-oriented marketing disciplines: Paid Social, Display Ads, Paid Search, Email, Outbound Calling, or Direct Mail.

  • Understands the marketing funnel and different marcom strategies for optimal advertising vehicles across the customer journey.

  • Has created lead generation and nurturing strategies and is familiar with outbound calling processes and optimization.

Desirable Requirements

  • Deep experience with database marketing vehicles including Direct Mail, Catalog, Outbound and Email.

  • Experience in developing CRM strategy, campaign optimization, and leveraging predictive analytics for targeting and segmentation of campaigns.

  • Has direct experience with sales teams to create and optimize outbound calling programs including the audience, script, and offer.
