It’s hard to put a price on driving human progress, but when you’re operating in a competitive business environment, you need innovative pricing strategies. Our Pricing team within Sales Operations is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating these strategies. We conduct research and competitive pricing analysis and monitor the ongoing business environment to ensure Dell maintains a competitive market position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive developing, evaluating and implementing pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics for ISG products portfolio in LATAM.

  • Work closely with the regional Pricing lead and regional LOB pricing managers, analysts to drive pricing strategies and decisions for LATAM region.

  • Drive alignment in the region for the pricing strategy as well as communicate any changes out to the business, to effectively capture the value of our products.

  • Leads quarterly pricing proposal process for LATAM with other functional leaders to insure competitive and financially viable price position for region. Support Finance forecast cycle to ensure market dynamics and pricing inputs are included in planning process.

  • Focuses list pricing activities and influences discounting and promotional practices with the intent of maximizing overall operating income.

  • Provision of analytical driven insights in order to support Dell’s growth and strategic priorities, support management in delivering deep-dive type of analysis and presentations.

  • Monitor and report regional and/or global competitive trends. Develops and maintains competitive pricing tools designed to monitor changes in the marketplace and their impact on the corporation.

  • Support sales and special pricing teams working on bids on a regular basis. Supports the list pricing at launch of new models or products. Assist with investigation of cost trends and issues and work with costing teams to improve cost over time.

  • Answer ad-hoc questions related to pricing.

  • Fluent English is required
