Product Manager - IT Talent Pool - TDC Event

This Talent Pool is intended to Product Managers who will participate in the TDC Event and have interest to have a conversation with Talent Acquisition team from Dell. The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Product Managers at Dell:

  • Single point of accountability for a product

  • Product Ownership supporting Dell's strategy, including business solution concepts, user stories etc.

  • Works with business partners to determine software requirements & system impacts

  • Defines persona-based & customer-centric outcome-based roadmaps that align to key opportunities & strategic partnerships

  • Works with internal stakeholders, external customers & users to validate business; partners with engineers to drive alignment on those interests and ensure the development of key outcomes

Requirements for Product Managers at Dell:

  • Understanding of product model methodologies such as Lean, User Centered Design, and Extreme Programming

  • Knowledge of functional area and customer needs

  • Self-directed and ability to drive projects to successful outcomes within fast-paced e-business environment
